I realize this is a quest for the BEST RIBS.....So please forgive my digression regarding the same ole cole slaw served with most of the ribs in this area. Someone needs to break the trend and come up with a slaw other than what everyone else is selling from the big plastic tubs that come on the truck ready made each week...know what I mean? While I'm on a rant let me ask. Why is it so difficult for the local houses to serve up FRESH & HOT french fries with these meals?

While it's not a local eatery, I took the wife to Golden Correl the other week for the rib feast. Their ribs would give either of the two locations in town mentioned at the end of your story a run for their $$. Still undecided if the opinion a buffet can serve up just as good of product as a local rib house reflects poorly for one or well for the other.

I'll say..by the time one factored in the fuel expense for the drive to Golden Correl it was.

If you're driving to Golden Corral for ribs when there's places like Frankie's, Daddy D's, Double-T's, well...

I disagree with you on the BK ribs...they don't smell like dog food...They're very good for what they are. They blow the McRib out of the water. And really, ALL of you should let Paul Pierce handle the Truth...he could do a much better job!

Paul Pierce wouldn't use the the words rib and Burger King in the same sentence Kimosabe.

Word.

I have got news for you...if you think the ribs are good at BK then you just don't know ribs.  I have to be blunt here, those ribs SUCK!  I was intrigued when I saw the advertising for them and the pictures sure looked tasty but the end product were a long way from what was promised.  I have purchased, made and eaten ribs from Europe, all over the United States and Mexico.  I have had ribs that were roasted in the oven, cooked in smokers and on grills and even ribs that were slow cooked in crock pots and without a doubt the ribs from BK are the worst I have ever eaten.
