My heart goes out for this young innocent child.  RIP.  Kimi and John, words can never express the pain and suffering you are going through.  I cant imagine myself, although as a mother I can "imagine".  I am so sorry for your loss.

What a tragic story. I feel for this family and the parents of this child. People like this should go to jail and they need to throw away the key.

My deepest sympathy to the family. No one should ever have to go through this.

No, people that would do something like this should be executed.

Habeas Corpus, due process. Although if we had execution as an option we would see much less violent crime in our communities, it's a very persuasive deterrent.  We don't hang them in Elkhart, but our judicial system operates like the Wild Wild West sometimes, so I just hope that they can thoroughly investigate this tragic crime in our community and bring these 3 men to justice. I pray for this family, it's unbelievable that someone could do such an evil thing to a child in the commission of a crime, a home invasion. These 3 men are a menace to society and need to be locked up immediately. I hope they find, detain, and prosecute them to the full extent of the law that the  State of Indiana allows..

They should advertise that of the 3 criminals that were apart of this, the first one to come forward and rat the other 2 will only get "life" behind bars, while the other 2 will seek the death sentence.  Who shoots a child....let alone anyone....they need to be off the streets...I am sure this isn't the first time these knuckleheads have tried something like this before...I am ok with public executions...why hide the face we are removing a murdering scum from society...maybe others will see it isn't a pretty site and may think twice about it...

I cannot agree more with you. They need to put those men away for life. Nobody who shoots and kills an innocent child should be wandering the streets. I think all of them should have a death sentance. Who does that, it takes a hateful person to kill a child. Those men need to come foward
