His actions prove his guilt.  With that kind of damage to his car and windshield bowed in he didn't even stop once to check?  People usually slam on the brakes...stop. go out and check the damage befor emoving on.  Come on....Really?? What was he afraid of...again...another dui? Why did he have to "clean out his car" before it was impounded?  Why did their attorney contact Brad Rogers and not the detective?  Why did he refuse a chemical test?  Why didn't the sheriff get a court order for a chemical test?

Boycott Rulli's!

I also agree with the guilty part in this! However, it is NOT his parents and families fault! It is not the restaurants fault! Boycotting Rulli's is not the right thing to do! Being someone who loves the Carlstrom family dearly, have a hard time dealing with how I feel toward Pascal Rulli and what he did....but he too is only human...we ALL make mistakes. I know the how difficult this has been for Zion and the Carlstrom Family as well as all who love them! I also believe in forgiveness ! It is very hard to believe that he hit her and her body went forward.....but he thought he hit a dear? And he drives clear to Fort Wayne with a smashed in windsheild??? That does not make sense. I say fess up....admit it....take the punishment that comes with what you have done. Let justice be served! It is hard enough to be a parent knowing your son did this....but come on don't boycott the Resturant and Family. Pray for Zion and her family and forgiveness for the Rulli family.

I would not boycott the Rulli's restaurant, it is not the parents fault.

I know the lawyer is advising this young man, but I would dearly love to see him tell the truth instead of all these lame excuses.

I'm just sorry for the Carlstrom family and all they have had to go through.  I hope Zion recovers fully, and that the relatively wealthy Rulli's are helping with their medical bills.

The whole situation is just sad.

The side issue here is one that seems to be missed by most people including the reporter is why it took so long to arrest Rulli? If you read the probable cause it seems pretty straight forward. So why four months? The officers involved talked with the accused a day or two after the incident and it took them four months to arrest him? Come on.

Also why did the dad have to go to Ft. Wayne and clean out the car? What did the dad remove from the car? Did the father tamper with evidence?

All the other comments from readers agree that this seems like a open and shut case. But just you wait until the well paid defense lawyers get to do their stuff. I can't wait to see the lame excuses they use to justify Rulli's actions and shift blame to someone else.
