See how the law here is screwed up?

You flee, you plead that you did not, which makes you a liar right away, and nothing is happening. Let's talk and talk, while a innocent is hurt.

Rulli’s plea of not guilty of failure to return to the scene of an accident which resulted in a serious bodily injury,

How does this case / his family deserve any respect? Unbelievable. Man up.

Sounds like a typical spoiled rich kid refusing to admit he messed up and take some responsibility.  I will not spend another cent of my money at their restaurant.

I agree.  I no longer will spend any money at Rullis'.  Convienant that this happened the day after the elections....was this scheduled or were they trying to sneak this by....Guilty!  Poor morals and over judgement!!!  Way to go family....great job of raising a productive citizen...I have this feeling that he will get a smack on the wrist for this....again...

Geez people.  The guy is going to prison for running away. No idea how many years the judge will sentence him to, but I'm sure for some it will not be enough. Let the man serve his sentence and leave him alone. You want to be of some help? See if there is a way to help the young woman he seriously injured.

The not guilty is always entered in the first hearing!!! That is done by the judge not the family. This is just slandered in court, gives both the court and the lawyer time to make a case and see if any pleas are going to be offered. On his next hearing is when he will have a chance to plea guilty/not guilty...not his choice during first hearing! He will probably get offered some form of house arrest or just probation for a Class D! This is just what normally happens on this type of charge. Does not do any good to bash because the law is the law! People just assume that the family or this man was not taking responsibility but, this plea is not their choice! If you pay attention to all cases that go to court for the first hearing it is always a not guilty plea by the judge...don't ask me why but, it just is!! Please everyone put all you energy in prayers for this young girl!!
