Having lived/worked in Honolulu, I visited or went by Pearl Harbor many times.  Many Americans were curious to know what might have been going through the minds of the Japanese people visiting the memorial.

One way to have closure for those GI's can be actually meeting veterans from the former enemy.

I hope our veterans from the Middle East "wars" have that same opportunity, just as some Viet Nam vets have had.
