This is coming from the National and State GOP.  They know their chances of holding on to power lies squarely with suppressing the voter turn out.  It has worked elsewhere in the state as well as the Nation.  And the GOP wants us to believe that their party is of the people, by the people, and for the people.

You Know, paper ballots don't need any special testing.  Less polling places saves money.  Their logic just does not add up.

And yet, the GOP is willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to put armed guards at schools, but not a dime for making sure that the people have a right to vote without waiting in lines for hours.

"This is coming from the National and State GOP.  They know their chances of holding on to power lies squarely with suppressing the voter turn out.  It has worked elsewhere in the state as well as the Nation."  >>>  Herm

Your screed is patently false.  BO was elected again!  You seem to be a poitical plant who simply mimics the GOP vilification narrative.  You must believe that if you tell a lie often enough, it may just become the truth.  It won't.  But you may be able to mislead weak thinkers and people too lazy to actually come to their own conclusions.  That, of course, is a voter manipulation.  Today will be interesting as the Supremes tackle the 1965 Voting Rights Act.  Specifically section 4b and 5.  The case is about removing the Fed from their interference  over certain states rights.  Should be a great tell for future voter verifications standards.

I do not think there is another poster on this forum who drives the Lib talking points as harshly as you do Herm.  Common sense and truth should be incorporated, however.

Hermy, I have been voting since 1976 and have never waited in line longer than 5 min.

I have however worked the polls since 2010 and I can attest to the 2012 lines by people who had been bused in, paid to vote, bribed to vote and came in looking for a ballot just for Obama.....I said we do not have a ballot just for Obama....the person said I don't care about anyone else.....I just want to vote for Obama!  Of course none of this is allowed....as no campaigning is allowed 50 ft. within the voting area and you are not to talk about candidates.....

But we are now seeing "Uninformed Voters" who do not even know who is on the ballot.....this is part in partial due to motor voter.....pushed by Columbia University Socialists...Cloward & Piven......you can find the picture of Clinton signing it into law with them in the background.....smiling.....then add in a little "community organizing" with "Project Vote" and "Organizing for America" which has now "Changed" name to "Organizing for Action"......anyone who donates up to $50,000.00 can arrange a meeting with O.
How nice.....you can now buy votes as the Prez. and keep the Power to the dems......

Check it out.....Good Luck!

Oh Yes Hermy,

A good Liberal Democrat friend once told me that the "Uninformed Voter" was the most Dangerous!

I AGREE!

I find it so sad that our nation has adopted this "anti-technology", "anti-community", "anti-improvement",  "anti-progress"  stance for all the things that will make our society better as a whole. But when it comes to destruction and annihilation of others, we somehow find all the funding and more to keep that industry healthy and vibrant and booming, creating some of the wealthiest CEOs in the world.

Can you guess who really suffers in all of this?

Why are most of the worlds most competitive, fastest rising countries NOT CUTTING, but IMPROVING and INVESTING into their future and society, while we scream "CUT",  and give up the chance at advancement on purpose?

Please; stop and think.  We are *not* a broke country: we own more wealth that any nation on earth.

Our problem stems from the fact the distribution of that wealth has gone WAY, WAY out of track, to the point that we can't even progress anymore.

Hermie, hermie hermie.......you should verify facts before you print your ridiculous statements.

In point of fact, the GOP was the first to recommend this method of the voting centers because IT SAVES MONEY AND ALLOWS MORE PEOPLE TO VOTE!!!!!!!!!  sheesh.

The Democrat party officials at first balked because.....well, because they thought voter fraud could more easily occur.  However, when members of both parties went to where the vote centers are being used in Indiana now, they became as enthusiastic as were their counterparts in the GOP.

You see, Hermie and lefties........the leaders in both the Elkhart county parties do get along and realize that to INCREASE VOTER TURNOUT WE NEED TO MAKE VOTING MORE EASILY ACCESSIBLE.....ERGO, THE VOTE CENTERS.

Get a clue bus ticket, Hermie.....I hear there are one or two still available.
