I quit reading when I saw they double the amount spent on real estate improvements and only hire 10 employees vs the 150 promised.

Real Estate improvements ONLY help the owners.  More crony capitalism.  So how much kick backs to campaigns for these politicians that allow this corruption?  Name of the game.

Shameful.

It's a sad statement when taxes are onerous enough that companies want tax breaks to set up shop.

Wonder who controls the purses?  It is not what you promise, not what is best for the community, it is how you play the game to maximize your net worth.

Yeah, I think they should leave and take their businesses elsewhere. They should also give up their American citizenship, become citizens of whatever 3rd world they go to and not be allowed back into the country that treats them so horribly. That'll show us!

Poor, poor rich people. Always gettin' the shaft.

Capital is fluid. Haven't you noticed that is EXACTLY what has been happening?

Haven't I noticed what?

Yeah, I've noticed folks moving their businesses overseas. I haven't noticed any of them giving up the benefit of living here though.

I say if you want the benefits of a location offering low taxes, low wages and  low environmental accountability you should also enjoy the benefit of living there.

WAAAAHHHH! I don't want to pay taxes on my bank account that's so big I'll never spend it all!! WAAAAHHH!!

GTFO then! Someone will fill your spot. Give up your citizenship with all the benefits it offers and move to Mexico. Go on you crybabies, spend what you would have paid in taxes on a private army to protect your spoiled a$$ from the people you're screwing. Go to China where whatever you happen to be making isn't protected by any copyright laws and you'll be fighting for pennies on the dollar once someone reverse engineers it.

Nah, much safer to stay here where you don't have to worry about having your head mailed to your wife if she doesn't cough up ransom or waking up in a cooler full of ice while someone is removing a kidney to donate to a bigger fish with the same blood type and an even bigger bank account.

Like I said, poor, poor rich folks.....I wonder how they ever made it through the dark ages of the Eisenhower administration when the top tax rate was 90%

Makes one shudder to think.....

Stability is on the plus side of the equation, and the US citizens STILL pay taxes on dividends and stock sales. I'd also point out that even middle class America tends to own stocks and their retirement depends on these companies doing well. You diatribe implies that the onerous taxation only hoses the fabulously wealthy, but the reality is it's hosing EVERYONE.

Poor poor weffies, needing to steal more and more of other people's money just to avoid being self sufficient. Maybe they should move overseas to one of those wonderful socialist utopias that supposedly exist (but really don't)?
