Sounds great for Elkhart County.

I am beginning to question the tax phase in/tax abatement program as more and more companies apply. Companies are going to expand and grow if they feel it is necessary. Are taxes too high to begin with? What if no tax phase in were given? What do other communities do? We need to be business friendly but also be good stewards for the public. Residents do not get tax breaks for improving their property. Perhaps it is time to review this practice.
