There is a pathway to legalization, Mr Hannon and others wish to change it. At the moment we have seventeen trillion more pressing issues.

There is a pathway to becoming a citizen.  Do it legally or stay in your own freaking country until you can.

The chamber must recognize that our local economy would come to its knees if, by some impossible scenario, undocumented workers (mostly from MX) were deported.

Many local citizens take advantage of the low wages given to these hardworking Mexicans, ie. lawn care, tree trimming, harvest of fruit/vegetables and would complain if these prices for the resulting goods/services were raised.

I advocate the Ssnate version, which gives a non-punitive path to citizenship.  House versions have been more about punishment.

We already have all the laws needed to control immigration!! We do not need more laws doing nothing. Enforce the laws we have, they have worked for well over two hundred years, previous to about 30-40 years ago. Nothing has changed, except getting reelected and wanting votes!! That truly is the bottom line.

Highly unlikely, if anything we would once again realize an economy which offered entry level jobs for those of age to enter the workforce in this country. In addition with a growing pool of retiree's finding it necessary to supplement; it would be quite some time before our economy would be in short supply of adequate workforce.

In all likelihood any immigration reform will result in overcompensation to accommodate the intentionally underestimated number of illegals already here and be lacking in any protection to stem future flow across the borders. The net result will be similar to what we are currently experiencing with this Administration's blind eye. While it may by technicality be one less law for illegals to break, I suspect for many it won't be the last opportunity for them to break the law.

No adult US citizens (white or black, or in between) is physically able to do stoop labor, or other ag work, or even landscaping.  Its almost hilarious, if it were not pathetic.  Most are couch potatoes.

Your infatuation with the migrant would be applaudable were it not clouded by bias derived from falsehood.
