This is crap - This article about local decision making is all about what people think and feel and perceive.   It get's no one in Goshen closer to becoming safer with the same public resources.

Until we get to the point where we quantify the increased risks of traffic at various speeds in various areas, we get no closer to using Police resources to make anyone truly safer.

So the neighborhood that complains the loudest about speeding gets the patrols?

That's no way to run a government agency for efficency - Like the IBM motto says  - "Let's build a smarter planet."

24.3 MPH is the exact safe speed.  No faster, no slower.

I don't travel in that area any longer because there are a ton of wet leaves on the street. Since Kate's car speeds up when braking on wet leaves I thought I better put safety first and avoid her and her 1992 Mercury Contour.

Maxwell - You might just take the prize away from FlyNavy for being my favorite contributor around here.  Sorry Elias!  I may have to bump you to 3rd on my list.  You would be #1 but I am clearly jealous I am not as funny as you Wink~

However to beat FlyNavy I will have to challenge you to successfully bust my chops like FlyNavy did.  The editors at The Truth liked seeing me being served so well that they published his quote that served me up on the Friday edition of dead trees so readers there could see how my goat was clearly gotten at that moment.

They aren't publishing people other than quite selectively from their Facebook page and I'm really not trolling to be published in print so that feat is likely to not be repeated...so maybe I should give you a pass on the pure quantity perspective soon.

Instead of merely just posting ad hominem how about about a link to the 24 x 36 illustrated poster of the complete list of logical fallacies as an early Christmas present?

Sorry, Maxi - nope, that isn't it.

You know, you're like a chimpanzee slinging (as Bones says) feces in desperation until something sticks.

Well, back to real life, where important things are happening and I don't have to deal with jerks who think they are the great Karnak because they use a search engine.

And while I'm at it,  I'm not Brad -   don't even know him - or JackN either.

Bye, boys.

Good golly! My how we stray from topics. This time I learned something tho.

I had to look up ad hominem and I found the Democratic plan of action for 2014 elections modeled after the White House defensive action blue print.

The Ford was a Contour.  The Mercury was a Mystique.

Hopefully this little bit of enlightenment won't be dismissed ad hominem.

LOL Regis!

This is the perfect article to be off topic on because it is quite simple and practically worthless in it's insight.
