Jeff Eppert

ELKHART - Jeff Eppert, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at home.

He was born on May 21, 1953, in Goshen to Clifford Lynn and Elsa (Tope) Eppert.

He married Susan Cheryl Toliver in 1972.

He married Carol Murr on Oct. 9, 1993 in Elkhart.

She survives along with three sons, Travis Eppert, Troy (Angela) Eppert and Zachary Murr, all of Elkhart; a daughter, Jennifer Murr of Fishers; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ginger (Cor) Bergh of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Nick.

Friends may call for three hours prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, funeral services at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, with the Rev. Walt Davis presiding.

Mr. Eppert was a plant manager for Cana, Inc. in Elkhart. He was a member of the NRA.

He loved hunting, fishing and camping. His interests included NASCAR, college football, fantasy football and animals of all kinds, especially his dogs.
