SOUTH BEND - George Timothy Malone, 53, of South Bend, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.

He was born Feb. 13, 1959, to Ruby Mae (Foster) and Ernest Lincoln Malone, in Waterford, Miss.

He married Cheryl (Riffell) Malone in South Bend on Nov. 22, 1989.

Survivors include his ex-wife, Cheryl; children Tia Nashelle Spears, Jaquice Lorraine Spears, Crystal Ann Malone and James Edward Malone, all of South Bend, Justin Arthur Riffell of Elkhart and George Timothy Malone Jr. of Bloomington; 11 grandchildren; siblings Mary Jean Williams of Indianapolis, Mamie "Antoine" Lee Sullivan, Eddie Joseph "James" (Debra) Malone and Michael Lynn (Marie) Malone, all of Buffalo, N.Y., Curtis Lincoln (Gwen) Malone of Cleveland, and Ruby Doll (Michael) Wilson, Gracie Ann (Warren) Farkas, Gregory Anthony (Roxanne) Malone and Juanita Malone, all of South Bend; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be for one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, services at Alford's Mortuary, South Bend.
