ELKHART - Dawn D. Bellaire, 47, of Elkhart passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born June 18, 1965, in Elkhart to Max David and Caroline Lee (Vail) Bellaire.
Survivors include her mother, Caroline Bellaire of Elkhart; two sisters, Tammy (Eden) Marshall of Goshen and Robin Bellaire of Elkhart; two nieces, Jessica Foster and Allyssa Bell; and two nephews, Dennis Weaver and Aaron Marshall.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, Elkhart, with Pastor Russell Jensen of Belmont Neighborhood Fellowship officiating.
Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery, Elkhart.
Ms. Bellaire worked for Meijer as a utility worker. She was fluent in sign language and loved animals, including her guinea pig, Sissy, and her cat, Butters. She had a true sense of innocence, as she saw the world the way she thought it should be.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
