Arthur W. Rowe III

ELKHART - Arthur W. "Art" Rowe III, 48, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 27, 1964, in Elkhart to Arthur W. Rowe Jr. and Gertrude M. (Koppy) Rowe.

Survivors include four brothers, Mike (Charlotte) Rowe of Elkhart, Jerry (Susan ) Rowe of Elkhart, Don Rowe of Madison, Wis., and Jim (Rosie) Rowe of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Art was formerly employed with Crown International and PM Liquors for several years.

He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, the Mercedes-Benz Owners Club and the National Rifle Association.

Art enjoyed spending time collecting vintage automobiles, watching all types of auto racing, using his computer and especially taking care of his two dogs.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Billings Funeral Home. A vigil service will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral services. The Rev. Bill Sullivan of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church will officiate. Interment of his cremated remains will be at St. Vincent Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthur W. Rowe III Memorial Fund.
