Marimohn L. Rowe

ELKHART - Marimohn L. Rowe, 87, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born June 20, 1925, in Elkhart to William and Anna (Steveson) Lines.

On Nov. 26, 1946, she married Jack R. Rowe in Elkhart. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2008.

Surviving are children Jeffrey (Ronnie) Rowe and Nancy (Michael) O'Brien, both of Elkhart, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Rowe, and a sister, Bettie East.

Marimohn had attended First United Methodist Church in Elkhart and she enjoyed ceramics, reading, playing bingo and doing crossword puzzles. She was employed by Concord School System for 21 years, retiring in 1980 as the cafeteria manager.

Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services and a private family graveside service will be at Rice Cemetery at a later date.

Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
