ELKHART - Marian A. Clements, 88, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:47 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Aug. 9, 1924, in Elkhart to Edward N. and H. Berenice (Schutt) Diley.

On June 28, 1942, she married Morris E. Loney. He passed away Feb. 29, 1972. She married Shannon K. Clements on Nov. 3, 1972. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2011.

Surviving are a daughter, Cherryl (John) Stauffer of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Tisha (Chad) Edge and Wendy (Steven) Wernke; three great-grandchildren, Tina, Robert and Owen Edge; a step-daughter, Shana (Mike) Dines of Elkhart; two nieces, Linda Whitson and Amy Hargrave; a nephew, Steven Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Betty Diley of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorraine K. Loney; one sister, H. Frances Johnson; and two brothers, Charles Diley and Jack Diley.

Marian loved her family and her dog Bozo very much. She enjoyed bird watching, doing crossword puzzles, cryptograms and playing cards. She retired from Miles (now Bayer).

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 24, 2013, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the funeral home. Pastor Joe Smith from Dunlap United Methodist Church will preside and burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
