Memories and Condolences

Morris (Morry) Schrock, Avon, IN

Herb was a really great guy, and Elkhart County will not be the same without him. I can recall that at the top of his success at the Farm Store, even with people running all over the place, Herb would try to take a couple of minutes to pass the time of day with everyone. He knew no strangers. May God be with him and with his loved ones in their time of loss.

Allen Strike, Elkhart, IN

Sorry to hear of the passing of Herb. Through my many years of covering the fair for WTRC radio, Herb was always my 'go to guy' for interviews, information, or anything that would help me do my job and promote the fair. I never met anyone associated with the fair that had more enthusiasm for the fair than Herb. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Les Eads, Elkhart, IN

Sorry to hear of the passing of herb. I always looked up to him as a business man and a community leader. Most of all as a Christain and a new guy! May the Lord be with you during this difficult time. Les Eads
