GOSHEN - Ida Mae Beattie, 95, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare, Goshen.

Ida Mae was born March 25, 1917, in Elkhart to the late Sam and Lavonda (Dowll) Kwant.

She was married to Russell Beattie. He preceded her in death in 1985.

Ida Mae is survived by her son, Ken (Evon) Beattie of Elkhart; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Ida Mae was employed for over 33 years with CTS Corporation.

In her memory, donations may be made to Little Pine Church of the Brethren, where she was a longtime member.
