SYRACUSE - Robert Kramer, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 7, 1945, in Goshen to Matthew and Julia (Stump) Kramer.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Submarine Service. He was a real estate appraiser operating Kramer Appraisal Service. Robert was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse as well as Friendship Harmony Baptist Church in St. James City, Fla. He had divided time between his home on Lake Wawasee and spending winters in St. James, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Kramer of Syracuse; daughter Lisa (Jim) Honey of Goshen; sons Mark (Kelly) Kramer of Goshen and Jason (Justina) Kramer of Goshen; seven grandchildren; and sister Maxine (Joe) Hooley of White Pigeon, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Calling will be one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, with pastors Harlan Steffen and Brad Cox officiating. Interment is at Marion National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Missions C/O Wawasee Lakeside Chapel.
