Patricia M. Wetzel

ELKHART - Patricia M. Wetzel, 84, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 31, 1928, in Elkhart to Harry M. and Carolyn L. (Farwell) Roy. On Dec. 5, 1946, in Columbia City, she married Voris L. Wetzel.

He survives along with one son, Eric M. (Robin) Wetzel of Bristol; and three daughters, Linda D. Kidder of Elkhart, Becky Ann Clark of Cassopolis, Mich., and Virginia L. Wetzel of Bristol. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, John and Harry Roy, and a sister, Betty Ross.

Patricia retired from Whitehall, where she worked for 20 years. She also enjoyed going to auctions and buying antiques and was an antique dealer in Elkhart for many years. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery in Elkhart.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Chicago.
