WAKARUSA - Etta C. Weaver, 97, Wakarusa, formerly of Goshen, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor.

She was born March 9, 1915, in Harrison Township to John F. and Clara Etta (Dausman) Buzzard. She married Otis L. Weaver on Feb. 22, 1936. He died May 1, 1997.

Surviving are children Charlene (Donald) Farmwald, Carolyn Graber and Jan (Gary) Ramer, all of Goshen, Kenneth (Dolores) Weaver of Middlebury and Ron (Shirleen) Weaver of Wakarusa; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were a great-grandson; brothers Mearl, Carl, Wayne and Harold Buzzard; and sisters Lela Yoder, Gladys Yoder and Marian Sellers.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m service Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, all at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. Burial will be in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church or to World Missionary Press.
