Jan. 21, 1943 - Jan. 23, 2013

MISHAWAKA - Robert D. Gleva Sr., 70, of Mishawaka and formerly of South Bend, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at home.

He was born Jan. 21, 1943, in Mishawaka to John A. and Lorraine (Hass) Gleva.

Robert is survived by his wife, Pauline Gleva; a son, Robert D. Gleva II; a sister, Sandra (Tim) Edwards; and a brother, William J. (Sue) Gleva, all of South Bend. Also surviving are 13 nieces and nephews, and 22 great-nieces and great-nephews. Robert was preceded in death by both his parents and a brother, John C. Gleva.

Robert was affiliated with Turner's of Michiana. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

A memorial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Southside Baptist Church, 1130 Jackson Road, South Bend.

Cremation has taken place.
