ELKHART - Jerry E. Montgomery, 79, of Elkhart, and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 25, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital in Indiana.

At Jerry's request, there will be no viewing and cremation will take place. Private burial services will be at a later date in Milan Cemetery, Milan, Ohio.

Toft Funeral Home & Crematory of Sandusky, Ohio, is handling arrangements.

Elvin Slaight, Elkhart, IN I learned to know Jerry through Hubbard Hill Estates and appreciated him very very much. He was a special friend.

Jeannie Boyer, clyde, OH I worked with Jerry in the Bellevue yard and have a lot of fond memories of him! RIP
