Memories and Condolences

Bob Jones, Germantown, MD

Bob was a big part of my teen years as the director of various choirs, the Simpson UM Bell choir and the director of musicals in which I performed. The 1980 European choral/jazz/bell tour he organized and lead was one of the highlights of my life. He was a kind man, a mentor and a good friend. --Bob Jones.

Janet ( Dick) Vandehei, Oconto Falls, WI

Bob and his parents were very good friends with my family. My dad worked for his dad for many years until we moved to Racine, Wisconsin. They use to come up at least twice a year to visit us. Bob always promised to play the organ at my wedding which he did in 1972. I will miss him very much.He taught me to play the organ and he was a good teacher. My thoughts are with there.

Bob and his mother were past residents at Brentwood of Elkhart. They were both very talented and gifted people. We were sorry to learn of Bob's passing, he is happy now, he is home...Valarie Moorhead

Sandy Borglum, Chicago, IL

I worked with Bob on a number of musicals, as well as soloist and choir member at our church. He was kind and thoughtful, upbeat, pleasant, and I loved him. He was a good man. I'm so sorry to see this loss. He will be missed.

Pat & John, I was surprised to read this today. Thank you for your compassion and caring for Bob and his mother, they both passed away within a year of each other. Thank you again for helping this family when they needed you. Nancy & Deb

Deb Kissel, Elkhart, IN

Bob and his parents were dear friends for many years. His parents and mine remained in touch until the death of both my parents. Bob and my brother Bill built a pipe organ together in Bob's home many years ago. Bill went home to the Lord at the tender age of 21. He and Bob had shared the love of music so I hope the friends have met up again. To the family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Deb (Dew) Kissel
