ELKHART - Kevin Jay Cook, 57, of Elkhart, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, in his residence.

He was born Dec. 24, 1955, in Indianapolis to Keith and Joan (Kindig) Cook.

Surviving are a special friend, Peaches New of Elkhart; father Keith Cook of Elkhart; and sister Rebecca (James) Ramp of Terre Haute.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Joan Cook.

Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Jimtown High School and a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church. He worked at Anderson Boling and Homecrest, Goshen.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, and for one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastors Kevin and Sharon Yoder of Olive Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (East) Cemetery.
