March 31, 1921 - Jan. 31, 2013

ELKHART - Bernice J. Brouse, 91, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born March 31, 1921, in Union City, Mich., to Charles R. and Vivian H. (Nobel) Agur.

Surviving are three children, Sharon (Bill) Wuthrich of Bristol, Bob (Betty) Brouse of Middlebury and Jim (Karla) Brouse of White Pigeon, Mich. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving companion of many years, Eddy Zakrzewski.

There will be no visitation for Bernice. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
