AUBURN - Mary B. Ponko, 91, of Auburn, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, in Betz Nursing Home, Auburn.
She was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Terre Haute.
She married William Ponko Jr. on Nov. 30, 1946. He passed away Nov. 14, 1993. They lived in Elkhart for 46 years.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Rose Ann Kidder (Rex) of Gresham, Ore., and Anne Ponko of Chico, Calif.; sons William B. Ponko (Deborah) of Warsaw, John Ponko (Susan) of Auburn and Larry Ponko (Karen) of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Moxin and Mary Jarenko.
Friends may call from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.
