Donna M. Mosier

ELKHART - Donna M. Mosier, 68, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

She was born in Elkhart on Feb. 26, 1944, to Earnest L. and Evelyn M. (Grandstaff) Leazenby.

On July 26, 1975, Donna married the love of her life, Thomas E. "Tom" Mosier, in Elkhart. He survives at home.

Other survivors include two sons, Amedee "Joe" (Cindy) Mosier of Bristol and Emil "Jimmy" (Stephanie) Mosier of Goshen; daughter Debra (Kerry) Rummel of Bristol; brother Ben (Karen) Leazenby of Elkhart; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Fike; sister Annette F. Kell; and stepfather Dulayne Eger.

Donna was employed with The Kent Co. for more than 23 years and later worked at JJ Babbitt Co. for more than 11 years.

She was a member of New Testament Bible Church and a longtime former member of the Swinging Hoosiers Square Dancing Club. Donna enjoyed scrapbooking, collecting angels and spending time with family and friends at Shady Point Campground in Jones, Mich., for more than 25 years.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at New Testament Bible Church, 29718 C.R. 18, Elkhart, and for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at New Testament Bible Church. Pastor Shirley Fox will officiate. Interment will follow in Rice Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Testament Bible Church.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.
