Loving Strangers That Cared, Elkhart, IN

Dear Miss Teresa, WE only know you a few min. I was there and held your hand and prayed for you in your last few mins. of life. WE are a stranger to you. But we are all Gods children. I am sorry that there wasnt more for my daughter and I to do. My daughter and I helped you slowly to the ground so you wouldnt hurt yourself. We got a blaket put around ya. as we wighted for the amblince to arrive. We stayed until the amblance left for the hospital.. Before the day was over we got news that you passed away ... I so sorry there wasnt more for us to do.. You will always be remember by us. Even thow we were strangers in the nite you will be missed.

To the Barham, Brown, and Howard family, and to all those deeply saddened by the loss of Ms. Teresa Lewis, may God be with you all during this difficult time. Ms. Lewis was a mother, an aunt, a teacher, a sister, and a friend to so many people that she left a lasting empression on all the lives that she touched. Her smile was infectious, her laugh was contagious, and her spirit was inspiring. 52 years is a timeframe that can never truly capture or measure just how many people she impacted or how many lives she touched just by opening her heart and letting them in. She was an inspiration to me, and she encouraged me to trust my faith and pursue my education, despite my fears. I will carry Ms. Lewis in my heart always, and hopefully inspire others the way she once inspired me. Our loss was truly Heaven's gain.

What a loss, Teresa was not only a work partner at ICF she was a great person and such fun to be around. She had a great personality and joyful laugh. I truly enjoyed working with her and sharing the times we had. I am so very sorry for her loss. To all of her family and friends may your tears bring memories joy and happiness and may she rest in piece.
