ELKHART - William Lacey Stigall, 62, of Elkhart passed away at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Woodland Manor.

He was born Sept. 13, 1950, in Hammond to the late Oliver and Edna (Rhymer) Stigall.

On March 16, 1971, in Elkhart he married Pamela Grice.

She survives, along with a daughter, Cherie Stigall of Elkhart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Edna Stigall; and a sister, Olive.

William worked as a carpenter for 20 years until his illness; he enjoyed playing guitar and was an animal lover. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972 and was a member of the DAV.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with arrangements.
