CONSTANTINE, Mich. - Ethel G. Bowen, 85, of Constantine, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

She was born Nov. 11, 1927, in Shipshewana, Ind., to Willard and Ernie (Middugh) Bellaire. She worked at Constantine Creamery and Manufacturing. Ethel attended Kessington Community Church. She enjoyed her family and audio books.

Surviving are her daughters, Jenise K. Gallay of Three Rivers and Elsie Ann Davis of White Pigeon; sons Ernie L. Rhodes of Constantine, Harvey R. Rhodes Jr. of Dunnellon, Fla., Fred W. Gallay of Union and Robert D. Long of Argye, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three daughters and nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Pastor Steve Steele of Kessington Community Church will officiate. Interment will be in Shavehead Cemetery, Porter Township.
