Delton Bell

WHITE PIGEON, Mich. - Delton Bell, 74, of White Pigeon, died Friday, Feb. 15, at Goshen Hospital, Goshen, Ind.

He was born March 14, 1938, to the late Malcom and Libby Mae (Locklear) Bell in Lumberton, N.C.

He married Phyllis C. Carper on Nov. 3, 1956, in LaGrange, Ind.

His wife; children Judith Bronke, Penny (David) Moore and Joseph, Stanley, Roger, Mark (Pam), Timothy (Mary) and Clayton (Laura) Bell; 41 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters Jenave Rusk and Pearline Bell; and many nieces and nephews survive.

An infant son, Clay; and siblings Mary Groves, Elizabeth Mullins and Bernice, Betty, Earl, Ferman and Tilman Bell preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Farrand Funeral Home, White Pigeon, with a 7 p.m. Native American Pipe Ceremony. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Mottville Community Church with his nephew, Pastor David Bell, officiating. Interment will be in Mottville Township Cemetery.

Donations may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. Envelopes will be at the funeral home.

I remember Delton has a kind, friendly man who was always a good friend to me. I've known him for 45 years,he never changed in all of that time. Delton became a friend that I will miss. God bless his family and my sincere regrets to you all.
