ELKHART - Jacqueline W. Manns, 81, peacefully went to heaven with her family by her side Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.
She was born in South Bend, Jan. 4, 1932.
On June 13, 1953, as Jacqueline Sharum, she married Sherman Manns in LaPorte.
She was employed as a production worker at Bendix Corp. for 30 years until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Ty) Miller of Elkhart; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman; a son, Ricky Manns; and three brothers, William, Allen and Earl Jr.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. A private graveside service in Highland Cemetery, South Bend, will follow at a later date.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Center for Hospice Care.
