GOSHEN - Ruth Delcamp, 94, of Goshen, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Michigan to Walter and Nellie (Austin) Covert. She married Edward J. Delcamp on Nov. 11, 1938, and he died Feb. 15, 1997.
Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn (Skip Kurtz) Van Arsdale of Goshen; sons, Edward (Becky) Delcamp of Tennessee, Scott (Mary) Delcamp of Nappanee, Howard (Kathy) Delcamp of Goshen, Richard Delcamp of Elkhart and John (Kristine) Delcamp of Goshen; 19 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-stepgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her infant son, Sidney Delcamp, and 11 siblings.
Ruth was a graduate of Middlebury High School.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where the service will follow at 3 p.m. Andrew Van Arsdale, her grandson, will officiate and burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg.
