BOURBON - Kay E. Fisher, 69, of Bourbon and formerly of Nappanee, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her daughter's residence.
She was born Dec. 21, 1943, to William and Lovina (Hochstetler) Stutzman.
She married John A. Fisher on June 17, 1972, in Elkhart. He preceded in death March 14, 2009.
Kay worked in data entry at Kinder in Elkhart and Stellite Coatings in Goshen. She attended Nappanee Missionary Church. Kay loved being a mom and grandma. She enjoyed computers, technology and loved birds.
Surviving are her daughters, Michelle "Shelley" (Kevin) VanderMolen of Melbourne, Fla., and Dawn (Steve) Baxter of Bourbon; a son, Edward (Beatrice) Fisher of Elkhart; stepdaughters Rose (Don) Butler and Lisa Wessler, both of Goshen; stepsons Jerry (Shari) Fisher of Elkhart and Scott Fisher of South Bend; several grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Stutzman of Mentone.
A sister, Lora Stutzman, preceded hr in death.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Nappanee Missionary Church. Officiating will be Pastor Justin Lamison and Pastor Norm Reimer. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or Marshall County Hospice.
