SPRINGS, Pa. - Paul J. Peck, 102, of Springs, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale.
Born Aug. 31, 1910, in Fort Hill, he was the son of the late Jonas and Mary (Reitz) Peck.
He was also preceded in death by two wives, Lola (Livengood) Peck and Edna (Geiger) Otto Peck; a son, Gale Peck; a daughter, Carolyn Peck; and a stepson, Glen Otto.
Mr. Peck was a self-employed milk hauler for 30 years. He was a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren, where he was also a deacon; and a member of Pennsylvania Association of Retarded Children.
He is survived by two sons, Ronal Peck and wife Rebecca of Springs and Terry Peck and wife Velma of Goshen, Ind.; a daughter, Sharon Hahn of Auburn, Ind.; two stepsons, Chester Otto and wife Janet of Accident, Md., and Blair Otto and wife LouAnn of Berlin; a stepdaughter, Gloria Borton of Albuquerque, N.M.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Md., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.
Interment will be in the Maple Glen Cemetery.
