Memories and Condolences

Jack and Karen Cittadine, Elkhart, IN

We will miss Phil with has smile and good nature. He was a wonderful husband, father and citizen. He certainly gave more than he received and left the world a better place. Sorry we could not attend the funeral, but you are in our thoughts. Jack and Karen Cittadine

I got to know Phil after my senior year at Jimtown. Phil cared for me as he saw something within me that I couldn't see. He allowed me to play on his Wakarusa Pharmacy summer basketball league team, not because of my playing abilities, because he had the best players around. He allowed me to play so that I could learn the game of basketball from the likes of Jim Hahn, John Wysong, Doug Thwaits, and Doug Brookins and others. This experience brought out of me what Phil Preston saw as an ability to coach. Thank you Phil, for believing in me, for allowing me to learn from the legends of this area, and for coaching me along until I could do it myself. You will be missed, but never forgotten. We will be together again some day!

Phil was one of the most enjoyable pharmacists I've ever had the pleasure of working with inmy 10 years at CVS. He knew absolutely everyone at every store he went to from north Elkhart to Peru Indiana. :) he always made everyone feel welcome and respected, and he always could fill a whole 8 hour shift with some crazy stories. We will miss u dearly Phil Preston!!
