CENTERFIELD, Utah - Our loving mother, Carol Virginia (Kendrick) Daum, 71, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Centerfield.
Mom was born June 21, 1941, in Chicago, to William Witt and Mildred Virginia Curtis Kendrick.
She married Irvin John Daum on June 24, 1961, in Lansing, Ill., at St. John's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death April 7, 2002. They are finally back together again.
Memorial services will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013, and a final goodbye at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Desir" Wuertemberger (her granddaughter) will officiate all services. Burial services will immediately follow in Rice Cemetery. A luncheon will be at American Legion Hall in Bristol from noon to 2 p.m.
Mom loved arts and crafts, word searches, cross-stitch, playing bingo at the care center and camping in her younger years. She will be greatly missed.
Mom is survived by her children, Rene" (Roy) Moon of Shipshewana, Ind., James E. (Tammy) Daum of Wakarusa, Ind., John F. (Daniela) Daum of Fort Sill, Okla., Michael L. (Carol) Daum of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Michelle (P. Keller) Christenson of Gunnison and Jeanine (Will) Antley, Norfolk, Va.; brother William Witt Kendrick of California; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather James E. Dooley; granddaughter MistyLynn and great-granddaughter Audrey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, Ind., and Magleby Mortuary in Richfield.
