MISHAWAKA - Dorothy J. Trump, 96, formerly of Edwardsburg, Mich., passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Hearth at Juday Creek in Granger.
Dorothy resided in Mishawaka most of her life.
Dorothy was born on Sept. 21, 1916, in Mishawaka to the late Charles E. and E. Nadine (Wilson) Kohler.
On Oct. 11, 1952, Dorothy married J. Edward Trump. Dorothy and Edward were married for 47 years. Edward passed away on March 18, 1999.
Dorothy is survived by five nephews and three nieces.
Dorothy was preceded in death by five brothers, Lawrence, John, Kenneth, Roy and Harry Kohler, and a sister, Evelyn Lowery.
Dorothy and Edward were owner/operators of Elkhart Cleaners for 30 years, both retiring in 1994. Dorothy was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in South Bend, when she was able to attend. She was also a member of The Eastern Star.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, with a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1021 Manchester Drive in South Bend. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
