Thinking of you and your family, I loved to talk with your Dad about Fitness and Dancing. He was a kind, fun and loving man.

Doris and the Matherly family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. We have many fond memories of Chet on the dance floor with Doris when we played for Guys & Dolls, North Webster dances, and at the Moose lodge. When we first started playing for ballroom dances, his knowledge of ballroom dancing, helped us to learn the right tempos for the different dances. We will miss his smiling face on the area dance floors!

Dear Doris, Ryan and Kyra, I am so sorry to hear of Chet's passing. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Growing up at the lake was one big family between us kids and our parents. I know the break in your heart will always be there but the memories go on. God Bless.

I am sorry to read about Chet's passing. I always admired your family and I know how it feels to lose a part of that family. Also, Bob Katzenmeyer passed last week. You have my prayers.

Kyra and Ryan, I am so sorry to hear of your father passing. Growing up on the lake, I recall Chet as a good man and friend. All of us "kids" looked up to your dad. When I was young, he allowed me to lift weights with him in the garage and taught me how to do it properly. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Matherly Family, It was a pleasure getting to know Chet over the past couple weeks. I enjoyed sitting with him and listening to his stories about ballroom dancing, flying (and crashing) planes, kayaking, and especially the story of him meeting his wife. I also enjoyed seeing him interact with his dog Noah....what a special relationship & what a great life he lead. Your family & Chet are in my thoughts and prayers and Chet will be someone I will never forget.

My heart felt sympathy to the Matherly family. I got to know Chet while being his insurance agent at Wells Fargo Insurance. His sense of humor and great smile will be greatly missed. I know how very hard it is to lose a parent, and Doris, God Bless you in losing your beloved spouse. Thoughts and prayers going out to all of you.

So sorry for your loss! I lost my father back in 2004, & Mom's in East Lake nursing center & had no short-term memory. It's hard to lose your parents, even at our age! I remember Doris & Chet as really nice, fun-loving people. Susan Growcock
