MISHAWAKA - Roland E. Doolittle, 58, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013.
Roland was born on Oct. 14, 1954, in Mishawaka as the son of George and Florence (Fogus) Doolittle.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
On July 2, 1994, he married June A. Wilder.
Surviving are his loving wife, June; son Richard (Stephanie) Doolittle of Mishawaka; daughters Randi Doolittle of Elkhart and Angie (Norman) Davis of Goshen; stepsons Tony (Tonya) Griffin of Goshen, Scott (Jessica) Griffin, John Simpson and Sean (Renee) Simpson, all of Mishawaka; brothers Amos Doolittle of Illinois, Boyd Doolittle of Mishawaka and George Doolittle of Mishawaka; and sisters Barbara Powell of Mishawaka, Carol Griffin of Texas and Mary Radabaugh of Mishawaka. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Kyle, Hailey and Samantha Doolittle, Corissa Sexton, Dylan Griffin, Ariel Hufford, Shelby Griffin, Toni Sue Griffin and Noah Davis; and a great-grandchild, Chester Doolittle.
Roland was a lifetime area resident. He worked for Elixor in Elkhart, he also did remodeling and carpentry. He was a member of College Park Missionary Church, SOD Busters and Michiana Jeep Club.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, in College Park Missionary Church, 2014 Liberty Drive, Mishawaka, with Pastor Jim Bayer officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior in the church.
Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
