BREMEN - Rosalie Homan (Dye) Dausman, 98, of Bremen, was called home to be with the Lord at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in her home.
She was born to William W. and Mary (Wilson) Dye on Dec. 9, 1914, in West Virginia.
She married Hurdis Dausman on June 30, 1942, in South Bend.
He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2001. A sister, Elizabeth Walker; and a brother, George Dye, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughters, Cinda (John) Gardner, Sanda (Doug) Costello and Ronda (Patrick) Neibert; grandchildren Daniil Gardner and Elena Gardner; and her faithful companion, Schaunze, her beloved schnauzer.
Rosalie and her husband owned Dausman Appliance for many years. She worked as an executive secretary at South Bend Gas Company and had also worked at United Foam, Bremen.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013, prior to the 6 p.m. memorial service at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Pastor Neil Wonnacott of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be given to Bremen Hospital.
