I was really saddened to hear of Ed's passing. I'll never forget him and the good times we had playing music together. he was the best drummer around as far as I'm concerned. and he was a true gentleman. i'm sure glad to have known him. rest in peace my old friend.

Dave Lewis, COCOA BEACH, FL

I was in South Bend in September, 2012, and had the good fortune to re-unite with Eddie for the first time in probably 35 years. I recall how remarkable he looked for being 70 years of age. He looked almost the same as years ago, and I told him so! I remember all the good times we had together playing music in the band "The Counts" along with my best friend, Larry Larkins and the late, Johnny Harbison. Eddie was always so cordial and told me about the bands he played in and the crabs in Marylind. I never heard a bad word from him. May his life and all he did and who he was be of comfort to his family. Dave Lewis Cocoa Beach, Florida
