ELKHART - Evelyn June Schieber Hahn, 88, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, in her home.
She was born June 27, 1925, in Mishawaka to Floyd and Mabel (Burkholder) Schieber.
On Dec. 31, 1947, in Wakarusa she married Lloyd Raymond Hahn. He preceded her in death on June 30, 1995, in Elkhart.
Her parents predeceased her, along with her siblings and their spouses: Thelma and Kenneth Fetter, Louise and Clifford Flora, Raymond and Maxine Schieber, Virgil and Alma Schieber, and Herman Schieber.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie (Michael) Fitch of Elkhart; a granddaughter, Erin (David) Liviskie of Beresford, S.D.; a grandson, Patrick (Brittney) Fitch of South Bend; a great-grandson, Liam Fitch of South Bend; and a sister-in-law, Carol Schieber (Melvin) Brunner of Cromwell.
Evelyn was raised in the Union Center Church of the Brethren; she was a member of Baugo Church of the Brethren from her marriage to Lloyd until his long-term illness.
Visitation for family and friends will be for two hours prior to the 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, service at Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway W., Osceola. Pastor Bob Vale of Osceola United Methodist Church will preside. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Union Center Church of the Brethren, Baugo Church of the Brethren or Olive Mennonite Church.
