Memories and Condolences

Sasha Lindwedel, Elkhart , IN

I grew up next door to Josey. She was one of the sweetest people I've ever had the honor of knowing. After high school I didn't get to see much of her except when she'd come into my work with Adrian for lunch... She will be missed by many but always in the heart of those who were lucky enough to know her.

Josy and I had met about a year and a half ago. We worked at Specialized Staffing together, though she was in the Elkhart office and I was in Goshen. She would come and help out the Goshen office often, and we developed a special friendship. I moved on to work at IOI in Elkhart, and she followed suit shortly thereafter. She spoke often of her beautiful little girls and her Abuela's (Grandma's) cooking. She shared about her Abuelo's (Grandpa's) auto shop when my car was breaking down. She was fearless in taking on new assignments and responsibilities at work, and was the first one to offer to help others or stay after hours. She was continually positive and had a calm disposition about her. In our Customer Service department, she referred to us as her "muchachas" and "chicas". She LOVED when people brought in food to share. LOL She was always very easy to get along with. She was such a young, bright light amidst the chaos of the work place. While it is so unfortunate to have lost her, I feel so fortunate to have known her, and for my life to have been touched by her. I will never forget you, Josy!! I look forward to seeing you again one day very soon!! May you take the time to truly dance on cloud nine!! If you should run into my grandparents, please hi to them for me. Love and miss you... <3 :')
