MIDDLEBURY - Helen V. Yoder, 82, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at home.
She was born on May 11, 1930, in Middlebury to the late Brian and Alice (Caton) Mauck. On Jan. 28, 1951, in Middlebury, she married Cecil R. Yoder. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Susan (Kent) Miller and Douglas Yoder, both of Middlebury, Steven Yoder of Eugene, Ore,, Kent (Martha) Yoder of Noblesville and Craig (Catherine) Yoder of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Randall (Sally) Mauck of Logansport.
Helen had been attending Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church for the past several years.
She was vice president and president of Middlebury Homemakers and Elkhart County Extension Homemakers.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury, and for one hour prior to a 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, funeral service at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen.
Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Memorials may be given to Northridge Dollars for Scholars or Boys & Girls Club of Middlebury.
