ELKHART - Dennis W. "Bud" Pflibsen, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Elkhart Hospice House.

Bud was born on Jan. 29, 1947, in Elkhart, to the late Kenneth L. and Josephine (Carson) Pflibsen.

In addition to his parents, a sister, Carol Whaley, and a brother, Chuck Pflibsen preceded him.

Surviving is a brother, Dale L. Pflibsen; his wife, Sandra of Elkhart; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Dennis's request, cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services, under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Interment will be in the veteran's section at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.

Bobbie Biermann, Elkhart, IN I am so sorry to hear Dennis has passed away. I just learned he was ill last week and spoke with him. I worked with Dennis for 10 years at Tenneco. I still miss him at work even though it has been several years since he retired. He was a good friend and great guy to work with. He will be missed. My condolences to his loved ones.
