Gene A. Foreman

CONSTANTINE, Mich. - Gene Aldon Foreman, 78, of Constantine, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born July 12, 1934, in Mottville to Elmer and Louise (Papke) Foreman. He had lived in Constantine Township since 1977.

Gene married Wilma K. Cleveland on April 11, 1969, in Centreville.

He was a welder and foreman in shipping and painting for Metalock in Elkhart, Ind.

He was a member of New Life Christian Center and the NRA and chapter leader of John Birch Society. He enjoyed the water, boating, fishing and his guns.

Surviving are his wife; daughters Connie L. (Tim) Wagner and Daleleen K. Fickert, both of White Pigeon; son Kirk D. Foreman of Constantine; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 9, 2012, at Farrand Funeral Home, White Pigeon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Riverside Church in Three Rivers. Interment will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Riverside Church, Three Rivers. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
