NAPPANEE - Mary Etta Schmucker, 75, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.

She was born April 22, 1937, to Enos M. and Maude A. (Slabach) Eash. She married Marvin E. Schmucker on Oct. 16, 1969. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2009.

Surviving are sons Glen of Nappanee and Eddie and Lamar, both of Bremen; daughters Coleen Yoder of Shipshewana and Roseanna Troyer of Bremen; stepdaughters Kathryn Slabaugh of New Paris, Virginia Miller and Julia Miller, both of Milford, and Laura Miller of Nappanee; 24 grandchildren; 22 stepgrandchildren, 11 great-stepgrandchildren; brother Wilbur Eash of Purdin, Mo.; and sisters Rosa Ellen Zook of Sarasota, Fla., PollyAnna Otto of LaGrange and Sarah Jean Chupp of Bremen.

Family and friends may call after 3 p.m. today, Oct. 9, and all day Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the family residence, 28892 U.S. 6, Nappanee. Funeral services are at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at the Ronnie Miller residence, 8919 W. 1350 N, Nappanee. The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Weldy Cemetery.
