Delbert H. Campbell Jr.

ELKHART - Delbert H. "Del" Campbell Jr., 75, of Elkhart, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 8, 2012, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Del was born March 22, 1937, in Milford to the late Delbert H. and Ruby (Tribble) Campbell Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Kathryn F. Campbell of Elkhart; stepchildren Lori (William) Lee of Bristol, Alan Pappas of Union, Mich., and Jeffrey Pappas of Elkhart; sisters Sharon Nolen and Mary (Bill) Crowder, both of Elkhart; and his brother, Jerry (Roberta) Campbell of Elkhart.

Delbert worked for 38 years at CTS Corp. in Elkhart. He formerly worked at Whisler Packing Plant and Schultz Mobile Homes.

Del was a U.S. Navy veteran from 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1959, serving on the destroyer tender USS Tidewater.

No visitation or services are scheduled.

Cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart.
